Thug Angel: The Life of an Outlaw is a documentary about the life of hip hop artist Tupac Shakur. The documentary has rare footage of Tupac while he was alive and interviews with the members of Tupac’s group Outlawz about what Tupac was like.

Tupac Shakur was as much angel as outlaw. Unlike some of the other profiles made in the wake of his passing, Thug Angel doesn't focus only on the first few days of his career or the last few days before his death, but on his entire life. That makes it valuable as much for the fan as for the merely curious. The production was backed by friends and associates and includes never-before-seen material. It's surprisingly evenhanded, juxtaposing footage of Tupac at 17, for example--sounding mature beyond his years--with an interview conducted years later on a shooting range. Passion was still in full effect, but idealism had been replaced by paranoia. Peter Spirer's film is a documentary, not a music video, and contains only snippets of Tupac's work. At its best, Thug Angel makes a compelling case for his continued relevance as an artist and activist.

We can't seem to figure out what Mark is up to. He left Hed Kandi, started Tokyo Project, and now he's started Fierce Angel Records. Maybe someone out there can shed some light on this. In the mean time, let's simply RAVE about this triple disc release! All 3 discs are un-mixed, contain mostly full length tracks, and when the tout this as 'Sundrenched Horizontal House', they're not kidding! Disc one is labeled, 'Full Recline', disc two, 'Upright' and disc three, 'Back To The Beach'! Just sample a few tracks from each disc, and undoubtedly you'll be clicking the "add to cart" button. Sweet!

Effects of Wasteland Angel takes place after World War III, in which the majority of the world was destroyed, and few survived. They live in constant fear of being killed or enslaved by the ruthless gangs, renegades, or horrific mutants.
