Mr. Ogata lives a complicated life: he's is a pornographer making two skin flicks per day and trying to stay beneath the radar screen of the local mob; he deeply loves his ailing wife Haru who's cursed by the restless spirit of her dead first husband; he also has a mistress, a step-son who wants to go to university, and a step-daughter entering adolescence. He lusts after his step-daughter, and he asks Haru if he can marry her. Haru agrees to his plan, signs over her business to him, and a crisis ensues when Ogata uses her nest egg to buy equipment so he and his pals can set up their own film processing lab. Surreal images and events weave their way into Ogata's life.

Bob Mintzer and Michael Brecker appear together and individually on this date for Novus from the early '90s, joined by a fine rhythm section consisting of pianist Don Grolnick, bassist Michael Formanek, and drummer Peter Erskine. Mintzer is the dominant voice on the CD, playing without Brecker on six of the nine tracks and contributing five originals. His moving ballad "Tenorman's Lament" is a warm tribute to Wayne Shorter, while the driving blues "The Saxophone" is bursting with energy. Brecker is on hand for a joint romp through John Coltrane's "Giant Steps" (a second version features only Mintzer), Mintzer's intricate blues"Two T's," and on his own for a lush interpretation of "Body and Soul," the latter which is combined in a medley with Mintzer's setting of "Everything Happens to Me." While the CD title is a bit misleading, the performances are consistently at a high level. DHC-6 Twin Otter De Havilland Canada production still remains one of the most successful commercial aircraft short takeoff and landing. This is a very qualitative model (Aerosoft keeps the brand) with lots of texture in several variations (with float, with skis). Fully animated and drawn 3d cockpit and cabin. In my opinion, this is one of the best commercial aircraft in its class for the simulator. It do not have anything extra, and every detail and every instrument as detailed. This is the perfect device for planting in difficult airfields or in their absence.
