Very dancy step choreography taught by a superb instructor. While the pace and patterns are super-challenging, Patrick does everything possible to help you keep up. He’s obviously having fun — and he’s fun to watch — but in this video he’s definitely “teaching” (not just “showing off”).

He begins with, and repeats, an even-rhythm, eight-count base move (so you’ll always have a solid sense of the underlying combo). Then he starts layering in the choreography — turns and pivots, tick- tocks and pendulums, mambos and scissors (intermixing easy-to-follow big moves with very complex foot patterns).

Fortunately, there’s always one person doing an easier/non-spin variation. Throughout, you’ll be motivated by Patrick’s easy-going style and you-can-do-it attitude.
