New Features
• Sudoku Up 2011's NEW v5.0 includes the following new Features:
Improved the placement of Numbers and Pencil Marks in the grid
Sudoku Up version 5.0 utilizes two new, easier ways to place Numbers and Pencil Marks in the grid. Now a Number or a Pencil Mark can be inserted in two different, easy ways:
- by selecting a number or pencil mark in the floating toolbar, then clicking a cell;
- by freely inserting a number or pencil mark using the
number-to-be-placed grid.

Redesigned Statistics dialog boxes
All the Statistics dialog boxes have been redesigned, with beautiful new 3D graphics. Available statistics are:
- For single games
- Games Won and Lost
- Longest Streaks
- Progression of Winning Percentage
- Current Session
- Players' Statistics
- For all games
- Games Won and Lost
- Games Won, Lost and Not Played
- Progression of Winning Percentage

- Log Statistics

Redesigned Game Won dialog box
The "Game Won" dialog box, which appears after winning a game, has been redesigned. It now contains a new 3D graphic displaying the number of games won and lost.

Redesigned Grids
The grids used in all the dialog boxes (Hi-Scores, Log Statistics, Select a Game Number, etc.) have been redesigned to match the colors and style of the chosen skin.

New "Grid Size" Option in the "Print Games" Dialog Box
Added a new "Grid Size" option in the Print Games dialog box. You can now select the size of grid to print.

New "DirectSound" option
A new DirectSound option has been added in the Options dialog box (Sounds page). By checking this option, Sudoku Up will play sounds using the Microsoft DirectSound engine. By default, this option is checked in Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems.

New Backgrounds
• Sudoku Up 2011's version 5.0 includes 3 new backgrounds: Butterflies and Flowers, Skyscrapers and Steampunk Clockworks

New Fonts and Numbers
• Sudoku Up 2011's version 5.0 includes the following new Fonts and Numbers: Bamboo style 1 & style 2, Jeans

New Player Pictures
• Sudoku Up 2011's version 5.0 includes 7 new pictures of Players
