Sheriff Preston Biggs (Kevin Sorbo, HERCULES) has been spending every waking moment drowning his sorrows in whiskey after he accidentally shot his wife in a hostage situation two years ago. His life once again sees a woman's touch--fourfold--when he is tasked with transporting three mail order brides diagnosed with "prairie fever" (mental instability) to Carson City's train station. Overhearing the cries of some of the brides, no-nonsense con-woman Olivia crashes in on the traveling party, only to develop a maternal attachment to Abigail, the youngest of the girls, and a surprising bond with Biggs. Olivia has baggage of her own, though, and it isn't long before her dangerous ex, James Monte (Lance Henriksen, ALIENS), is on their tail. Dominique Swain (FACE/OFF) also stars in this unusually sensitive yet action-packed Western.
