This episode reveals the engineering breakthroughs behind the US Navy's biggest submarine.

At 171 meters long, the USS Pennsylvania is as long as one and a half football fields. She can dive deeper than a thousand feet, sail for 20 years without refueling, and remain submerged for up to 6 months. She carries a crew of 155 men and a deadly nuclear arsenal.

But the USS Pennsylvania wasn't built in a day.
