This is Gospel Bluegrass at its best!!! This is a "landmark" Gospel Bluegrass Concert DVD!!! This is a concert dvd of Doyle Lawson along with 13 different line-ups of Quicksilver, performing before a live, enthusiastic audience at the War Memorial Auditorium, in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a "landmark" concert, because, this show commemorates Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver's 25th Anniversary. The 13 different line-ups represent all the different line-ups that Doyle Lawson had with Quicksilver throughout the 25 years. I'm not sure of the running time, but it is a fairly lengthy live concert. Doyle Lawson is a pure "Southern Christian Gentleman", and he is a Gospel Bluegrass Legend. It's amazing how he was able to put together this concert, with people who played in his band, over the last 25 years. I'm not sure of the date of the concert, but it has a copyright dated 2005. These different line-ups contain banjo players, acoustic guitar players, an electric bass guitar player, fiddle players, and Doyle Lawson plays the Mandolin, throughout the concert, and he an "awesome", "outstanding", Mandolin Player. Plus, one of the main things you get with this concert dvd, is excellent vocal harmonies. These guys can really harmonize well together, making their singing, exceptionally enjoyable to listen too. In conclusion, this is an outstanding, "landmark", Gospel Bluegrass Concert DVD. If you like Gospel Bluegrass, along with great vocal harmonies, you'll love every minute of this great concert dvd. So, if you're into this kind of music, then I highly recommend this one.
