Next Limit RealFlow - a program for the simulation of fluid RealFlow for Windows and Linux. We used the creators of such popular films as "Robots", "Ice Age 2" and "Lord of the Rings." The program works as a standalone-application, but can be used in conjunction with the most popular 3D-editors, including 3ds Max, Maya, LightWave, XSI, Cinema 4D and Houdini.

Among the possibilities RealFlow - rendering the dynamic behavior of particles, liquid, solid and soft bodies and their interaction with water and with each other. The program gives you the flexibility to manage the water drops and melting, to determine the depth of the sea, on which depends the size of the waves, sending an object to float downstream, add animated objects to the cameras and more.

The algorithm uses calculations RealFlow physical dynamics equations of fluid mechanics and has a unique feature - simulations of the particles can interact with each other.

As the particles are used metabolly - elements, "sleepy" with each other at short distances with the formation of a turning surface, which is the end result of calculations.

Using RealFlow can not only cheat the dynamics of gases, liquids, fluids of different viscosity and elastic materials, but also to simulate, for example, scattered galaxy. At the same time, developers have found a good balance between the realism of the results and computation time at a relatively low system requirements for hardware.

RealFlow was used for the production of spectacular effects in numerous films - Poseidon, X-Men 3 (The last stand), Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, and Ice Age 2 (The Meltdown), and many others .
RealFlow was used in the production of promotional videos such monsters as business Sony, Renault, Dockers, Coca Cola, Land Rover, PS2, Martini, Pontiac, etc.

RealFlow is a unique fluids and body dynamics software package which allows you to simulate anything from a single drop of water to a massive tsunami crashing across a beach, sweeping debris in its wake.
