Tri-BACKUP is a backup utility that automatically saves your data (from a single folder to an entire disk), synchronize folders, and creates and maintains bootable copy of your disk.
• Multiples modes: copy, backup, synchronize, remove, compress, compare, etc.
• Different backup modes: Evolutive (saves successive versions of each document), Mirror (identical copy), Incremental partial backup, Disk Copy, etc.

General:

• Completely redesigned interface.
Programmed Actions:

• Simplified creation of the programmed actions.

• New Action: Copy bootable disk.

• Ability to check immediately, during its creation, what will be done.

• Ability to estimate the size of backed up data (simulation of the execution of the action, with calculation of the space to be occupied and eventually released by an update).

• Display the list of programmed actions that are created with filtering and sorting options.
Scheduling programmed actions:

• Added the notion of context: a context can be assigned to each action and by modifying the execution context depending on where one is - for example with a laptop -, the user can have some actions to be launched only when at the office or at home (available contexte: Office, Home and Mobile, and anywhere).
Immediate Actions:

• New display options.

• Filters and settings identical to those of programmed actions.

• Immediate action can be set with all the settings of a programmed action.

• Analyze features to get an idea of what the action will do (without having to launch a real execution).

• Preview file contents (QuickLook).
Restoration:

• Direct restoration of data backed up by a specific programmed action.

• Search when and where was made the last backup of a particular folder, and restore from this backup.
• Restore from an Evolutive Backup.

• Restore from Time Machine backups (with all the filtering options available to restore only the desired items).

• Restoration in immediate mode to verify and see exactly what needs to be restored.
Tools:

• Display of the general state of the application and its process.

• Tool disk state, history of executions and daily reports.
