Su-in is a talented cook who is falsely accused of killing his wife and is sentenced to life imprisonment. Learning that a prisoner infected with AIDS can leave prison, Su-in injects himself with the blood of an inmate who is HIV positive. The inmate asks him to visit the cafe named Luth if by chance he escapes from prison, and Su-in manages to escape. Out of prison, Su-in confronts the priest who had an affair with his wife. The priest confesses to the murder, but then takes his own life. Su-in, having now lost all hope to clear his name and nowhere to go, heads to the cafe the inmate told him. He there meets Mi-ya, the owner of the cafe with her own past trauma. The two become closer and fall in love.
