The Cheat (November 1931) is a film directed by the young George Abbott, better known for a legendary career writing and directing plays on Broadway. Tallulah Bankhead stars as a rather confused young bride who is also an adventuress- gambler. Losing $10,000 that her young husband doesn't have, and foolish blowing a charity's $10,000 on the stock market, Bankhead barters her honor to a philandering businessman played by Irving Pichel (an actor in Dracula's Daughter and the director of Destination Moon).

Following a disastrous rescue mission (during which a pregnant woman was shot in the back at such close range that her fetus blasted out and hit him), SDU officer Lam begins seeing sexy psychiatrist Dr. Mary Fu in order to deal with the nightmarish visions he has been experiencing. Meanwhile, in a desperate quest for fame, struggling actress May allows herself to become the murderous puppet of an evil sorcerer (Ben Ng, essentially reprising his role from the earlier film) who is able to control her through a weird spider venom potion he introduces into her system. After May gruesomely dispatches a doctor and his nurse, Lam and his assistant, Si-man, are assigned to investigate. Things get hairy when the wizard places a sex curse on Lam, leaving him in a perpetual state of heat and wanting to attack everything female in sight. With information provided by Si-man’s spiritually enlightened grandmother, Lam is able to deduce that Mary is next victim on the killer’s list. Her rare birth date of February 29th corresponds with that of the sorcerer’s late wife, and the necromancer plans on introducing her soul into Mary’s body.

Unemployed, Hung seeks other means to survive and recalls a trick formula that will daze the victim and take the victim’s money. He first tries and succeeds in dazing a prostitute and taking her money. Hung then decides to inject the daze drug into drinks in convenient stores...

Rex rapes Ivy and decides to make himself King of two Queens on the island. This, he decides, is how he would like to live out the rest of his years. But his “queens” have different plans in mind. Amy and Ivy decide to leave the island, but first we’ll have to see what his majesty has to say about this mutinous idea…

Assigned to track and apprehend a serial rapist, Inspector Wong (Chan Kwok-bong) tries to question the latest victim, psychiatrist / screenwriter (!) Macy Hui (Natalie Ng Man-yan), but she is too distraught to offer any leads.

Mr. Lee is sent overseas to write articles about where and how foreign girls play around. Lee’s colleague (Tommy Wong Kwong Leung) looks a little dejected when their boss (Pauline Chan Bo Lin) sends Lee instead. The title is a bit misleading, as Lee manages only to check out Taiwan, Japan, France and Macau.

A somewhat silly film about a blind prostitute who works her butt off (no pun intended) to save up for an operation to restore her sight. However, when she beds down with a satyric vampire, her goals soon change to simply suriving.

A night of passion leads to murder and a ghost spirit’s revenge.

Simon Yam plays a cop who becomes shell-shocked after his squad is massacred by a group of Mainland criminals. He gets sent to head a group of bumbling cops on a small island, and things seem to be going okay. That is, until the same group of Mainland thugs come to the island to take revenge for one of their brothers and start to take over the entire town, killing and raping as they go. Eventually, Yam and the island’s few survivors team up to take on the group.
